Andrea Estrada Boren

Andrea comes to SCALEUP with more than 25 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant in both the non-profit sector and higher education. Andrea has an extensive background in a variety of administrative duties, program planning, budget management, and university processes.  

Prior to joining Texas State, she worked with several organizations that served vulnerable and underrepresented communities. These organizations included the National Hispanic Institute, the San Marcos Youth Service Bureau, and the National Center for Farmworker Health.

A Texas State University staff member since 2001, Andrea has worked with several grant programs in the College of Education and in the Division of Inclusive Excellence with the TRIO Programs.

She attended Texas State University where she studied Mass Communication.
